Happy New Year!
We hope you had an exciting winter break, full of family, food, and most importantly REST! The PTO is back to work and ready to hit the ground running this semester.
Here are some of our announcements to help you get started with planning:
- Mark your calendars for the January PTO meeting! We will meet at the school next Tuesday, January 15th at 3pm. Hope to see you there!
- WALT DISNEY UNIVERSITY- will be a fun after-school enrichment option for your student(s) held in March! Info should have come home with your student(s). If you are interested in leading a class or assisting with one, please contact our PTO at waltdisneypto99@gmail.com. Take a look at our Pinterest Board for some inspiring ideas for classes you may want to teach! You can find it here
- Our 2nd Annual Dolphin Dash Color Run will be on April 12th, 2019!!!! Information will be coming home later this week with more details, but we wanted to give you a heads up here! We have about 500 students at Walt Disney, plus about 70 staff members who will get t-shirts for the event! If you happen to own a company or business that would like to sponsor a classroom, a $100 donation would cover the cost for the t-shirts and powder for that class. There are varying levels of sponsorship, but at $100, your company’s logo would be on the back of all 570 t-shirts! We have also had families sponsor a class in the past, and it would say “The Smith Family” on the back, in that case. If you are interested in helping to sponsor our event, please let Mrs. Carroll know at kcarroll@phm.k12.in.us by February 1st!
