Hoooray for BoxTops!!! We will be having our BoxTops competition again this year. The class that contributes the most BoxTops will receive a Cereal Party. So it is time to go through your kitchen pantry, call your Grandma and lovely Aunts, gather up all the BoxTops from your and their kitchen and give them all to your teacher. Check all the soups, cereal boxes, chips bags, granola bars wrappers, printer paper or label sticker case, and even cleaning supplies (because you never know where they hide) for those valuable little BoxTops mark. It is free money for our school. We earned over $900 from BoxTops collection last year. This year we are aiming a little higher….our goal is $1000. WE CAN DO IT!!!
The deadline for turning them in is Friday, October 20th. Each teacher will need a parent or guardian to sort and count the BoxTops for the classroom before they are being submitted. Please contact your teacher if you are able to help. Look for BoxTops collection sheet that has been sent home with your kid, or send them in ziplock bag as is. (Tips: leftover FrostKing double sided tape is my best-friend when it comes to BoxTops collection sheet…simply stick a little tape to each box and peel off the other side as you find and cut more BoxTops)
